paying my dues

I'm off to Mcdonalds to get RICH!

Let me tell you about my stupid week. I was recently informed by the hickman county secretary people that i would not be paid or reimbursed for any of my work with the fire dept. until i have spent a minimum of four hours with a psychologist. So after already taking the one hour drive to nashville once yesterday, i helped my former boss prepare for fanfare- he hooked me up with some serious cash, i was told that i had to go back and talk to the psychologist or there would be no more fire runs for me. But the good news was i had lunch with megan, i got all my mowing done for the week, and thats about it. i wasnt worried about going to this woman, her name is Katie something, because in my mind i was like "i know what youre doing to me, i have taken like 10 hours of psycho. at lipscomb. give it your best shot katie you cant break me!"
Well it turned out to be a not bad experience. its something i have wanted to do, but i dont like to be forced into anything ever. i like to read on some level, but if you give me a book for a class and make me read it, i will not be able to remember any of it, even if it is a great book. So now i have to go back, in a week or two, and i think it might be ok! Because there is this one thing in psychology, i dont really care what it is, its about smart kids and dumb kids, you should think about it though, its kinda important.

Cayce arrives home on Wednesday, he is already out of the combat zone, so he is safe, thanks God for protecting him. He will be home for just two weeks and then he has to return. The 779th A.I.D. has also recently returned home from combat training in mississippi, they are an armored infantry division deployed out of C'ville. lots of great guys that i know from that group, they have a short stay at home and then back to mississippi and then probably on to iraq. i'm praying for all of them.

Camp Meribah is less than 24 hours and 15 minutes away from now. 11 am saturday the 11th day of june i move in to my humble little home away from home away from home (Lipscomb-Centerville-Camp) for the next 5 weeks! i have saturdays off so maybe you will hear from me and maybe not. Until the next time... always remember, when you come to a fork in the road, take it!

Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.
